Spring is winding down
And summer is cranking up!
OK, enough winch jokes. This old rusty winch was spotted while out shooting last week, and I knew the minute I saw it that it would make a good shot. I am a sucker for symmetry and repeated patterns. I went macro because the texture on the rust was so fine, and kept a nice tight depth of field to exaggerate the size. If you look closely, you can just make out the ball bearings in the housing!
